Your air charter flight safety is our highest priority.
We believe that:
1. Two pilots are better than one
2. Two engines are better than one
3. Two jet engines are superior to two piston engines (Jet includes all turbine engines) so we recommend this to all our clients.
Supplier Audit Program
We audit all our aircraft partners on an annual basis to ensure they meet our exacting flight and safety standards. This audit analyses all areas of their operation including:
Aviation Law and Legal Certification
We check that all aircraft are flown, maintained and certified to public transport standards, which is airline standard or above.Air Operators Certificate
We check that all our partners have the correct operating licence and that it is valid and up-to-date.Certificates of Airworthiness
We ensure that all our partners have a Certificate of Airworthiness issued in accordance with the Convention on International Civil Aviation, (ICAO Chicago Convention).Certificate of Insurance
The minimum levels of insurance cover required is dependent upon the number of passengers carried and, in relation to third party cover, the MTOM (Maximum Take Off Mass) of the aircraft concerned. There is also a requirement for cover in respect of baggage and cargo and in certain cases to insure against war and terrorism (the latter generally known as war risk cover). Many partners choose to buy insurance on a combined single limit basis.Public Transport License
The requirement for an air operator to hold an Operating Licence granted by the State in which it is based extends to virtually all carriage by air anywhere in the world of either passengers or cargo.
We offer you a genuine commitment to your safety by ensuring that all our preferred aircraft partners meet the standard required by our flight standards policy and aviation law.
"I spent the early part of my career in the Royal Air Force, and it was in this environment that the importance of flight safety was hammered home to me. On leaving the RAF I became a flying instructor in the RAF Reserve (VRT). In this strict training environment, the flying was incredibly satisfying and it was totally underpinned by an uncompromising attitude to the safe operation of each and every aircraft, and this is something that will always be our priority at V-One"
